We, Alan and Lynne decided to follow our dream and move to France opening a Bed and Breakfast in our favourite area of the French Alpes. We fell in love with it after completing the E'tape D' Tour in 2006 and spending 2 weeks mountain biking in the area in the same year.

We both cycle race and have been successful in many events most notably, as a team achieving, top 5 in Dusk to Dawn, 24/12 and Red Bull and Alan has won Hell of the North and come top 5 at Thetford whilst I have won Dusk to Dawn ladies pairs and the Cheddar 12 hour solo enduro plus achieved top 10 in NPS masters and vets. This year I competed in the first Le Mans 24H as a soloists where I came 3rd and rode 600km. We have also completed many cyclosportives including Le Marmotte and L'etape d' Tour and cycled in France, America and Spain as well as extensively in the UK.

Prior to our move to France Alan has spent over 20 years working with trucks both as a technician and in the office and I have spent 14 years working in the restaurant and hotel trade. We are both keen cyclists and skiers and generally love the outdoors there are not many outdoor pursuits we haven't tried, some more successfully than others. It is our motivation to follow our dream, our experience of outdoor activities / holidays and knowledge of the area along with a great B&B house that ensures we can offer you a great base for your holiday.
